SCG proposes a “refresher” course for security operators. The objective is to update personnel on the subjects pertinent to protection and defence, through lessons which will take place in the firing range and on other training sites. The lessons will be held by personnel, who for reasons tied to the assignments they have undertaken for years, are at the top level of possible preparation in this specific sector. Furthermore, we specify that such personnel has trained and compared itself with some of the best departments of the Special Forces both in the Armed Forces and the Police Forces of the major countries of the Atlantic Pact.

The course programme, that has been developed over four working days, includes the following subjects:

* Theory – security regulations within and out of the firing range.    
* Ballistic principles and general information on the type and callibre of weapon to use according to the type of job.    
* Grip-extraction-aim-release. Positions to take.    
* Firing exercises from static and dynamic positions, with or without taking advantage of cover.    
* Solutions for interference and malfunctions.    
* Update of information and techniques relative to the protection service and in particular to the role of the advancer, the team leader and the rest of the nucleus.    
* Protection services and activities connected to intelligence.    
* Defensive guide.    
* Use of technological apparatus.
