To ensure the safety of shipping, we work together with owners, operators and insurers to determine the risk profile of a given itinerary.  Our aim is always dissuasion, since many attacks can be avoided by relatively simple means, such as maintaining a given speed, or transitting particular areas at night.   We thus help to train crews in manouevering, dissuasive action and the use of specialist equipment and technology. 

In cases where – despite the use of preventive measures - the danger of piracy or terrorism is still considered high, we can also provide on-board protection programmes.  Our teams of experienced and highly-trained personnel can be deployed as and when they are needed, thus avoiding the need to pay for coverage in areas not deemed at risk.
